Listen to your body…Rest!!!
Sometimes our to-do lists seem to get longer and longer! As many hours as there are in a day, there can never seem to be enough! In moments like these, I developed a practice of intentionally slowing down and getting still. This helps me to be in touch with my body and what I really need. Getting to this place is definitely a practice! I no longer wait to feel as if I am totally depleted. Instead, I intentionally set aside time to just be. After working 5 days a week, Saturday has become my day for resting for at least half a day and sometimes more. What I am finding is that I feel calmer and less stressed. Who could ask for anything more? REST!
